Flexible working time – precise results
Discover Flexitime's innovative Time Concept
Flexitime's unique flexible working time combines a time window between 1:00 min. and 2:30 min. in just one product. This means that the decision to choose between a “fast setting” or a “regular setting” impression material depending on the indication is no longer necessary.
This is made possible by Flexitime's formula, which controls the polymerisation kinetics based on oral temperature. The setting (polymerisation) process accelerates when the tray is placed into the patient’s mouth.
Furthermore, the short intraoral setting time of 2:30 min. is always the same. As a result, an impression with Flexitime takes between 3:30 min. and a maximum of 5:00 min. only - from filling the tray to removing the tray from the patient's mouth.

Hydrocompatibility
Hydrocompatibility is essential for impression materials, ensuring precise detail reproduction. Hydrocompatible materials spread easily over tooth surfaces and preparation margins, capturing necessary details for accurate impressions.

Flexitime flow materials combine hydrocompatibility with thixotropy in a perfected balance. They spread smoothly and remain in place once positioned in the patient's mouth.
Hydrophilicity
Dental impression materials vary in their hydrophilicity. Some have an intrinsic hydrophilicity, but are sensitive to water absorption that may affect their dimensional accuracy, Others are hydrophobic and have problems to show all necessary details in wet environment. Good performing materials combine carefully tailored hydrophilicity e.g. by surfactants with matching thixotropy to flow perfectly on moist surfaces

Flexitime works excellent under wet conditions due to the low contact angle by keeping the dimensional stability even after disinfection..
Tear resistance

Flexitime materials perform an elastic recovery of at least 99%. So after deformation during the removal out of the mouth the material turns back to its original shape.

Anatomical models serve numerous diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in the dental surgery. The precondition for producing a suitable anatomical model is an accurately dimensioned impression. We offer you two material groups for anatomical impressions - alginates and also alginate substitute. The high dimensional stability of the A-Silicone based Alginate sustitute ensures long storage stability and allows additional pourings even after several weeks. Mixing occurs easily, safely and quickly in an automatic mixing device.
